Episode 53: Nature’s Female Viagra, A Two-Minute Heart Test & The Ultimate Sex Lamp

I have a story to tell. It’s a bit risqué, so if you’re not into it, avert your eyes! (Or just skip to the next segment.)

A few weeks ago, I kept seeing headline after headline about how vitamin D may ameliorate severe cases of the ‘rona. I can’t find the exact articles I was seeing, but this one and this one are two examples.

So, even though I was already taking it, I bumped up my intake. By a lot. Sort of accidentally. You see, we have a bottle of 2000-IU capsules in the house, so for maximum absorption, I began shoving a couple of those in my face-hole after every major meal. This translates to about 10-12,000 IU.

Did it make my immune system awesome? I don’t know, and honestly at this point I don’t even care. Because it seemed to do something entirely different…

You guys, it was beyond a Viagra experience. It didn’t just amp up the desire for bedroom activities, it amped up the pleasure response, and the ability to have multiple pleasurable activities on a daily basis. I am not even sure how I got any work done.

Granted, stupid people will claim that I’m recommending everyone take 10-12k IU of vitamin D a day. NOPE. I’m not your doctor and you’re a freaking adult. So experiment on your body however you like, or don’t. This is just my story.

Was this Viagra-like experience a permanent and ongoing thing? Not at all. It was more like a perfect storm, and the D probably just pushed it over the edge. Female hormones naturally ebb and flow all month long. We have a 28-day cycle that includes a time when we’re more likely to get the hornies. Certain weeks (like when aunt flow drops in) are bound to be more mundane.

So perhaps I bumped up the D at the right moment. Or maybe I finally filled a deficiency I didn’t even know I had, and it caused a very favorable reaction. Who knows?

I don’t have the all answers, but the continued self experimentation sure will be fun.
